International Conference on Gender & Development in the World of Work, Jhansi, 25-27 March 2010.

The Mandate for the Conference came from the Congress of Women Work and Health 2005. This conference was envisioned as a continuum of ideas that have been discussed and debated in the WWH (Women Work and Health) International Congresses since 1996. The Conference saw a number of eminent researchers and academicians engaged in debate and discussions over the 3 days of the conference. The Recommendations emerging from the debates was shared with policy makers and implementors. The Themes and sub-themes of the Conference were:
