HIV/AIDS: Capacity Building & Awareness Programs, Phase 2 in Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh, India.
The issue of HIV/AIDS affecting some of the most vulnerable sections of working classes particularly the migrant workers; the vulnerability of women to the disease of the 'left behind population' was the major concerns that need to be addressed urgently. The susceptibility of women was further aggravated because of their lack of awareness. Therefore a more holistic approach needed to be constructed to address the issues.
